Angling Heritage Service Awards

At Lake Champlain International, Inc., we believe people are a part of the solutions to the conservation challenges we face.   Each year we recognize some of the many who have dedicated themselves to the angling heritage and the conservation ethic inherent in our tradition.

The LCI Angling Heritage Service Awards are awarded to the individual or organization who has clearly distinguished themselves by demonstrating selfless meritorious service, in private or public activities, for the benefit of the angling community or Lake Champlain International, Inc.  Awards are presented in three categories:

  • A private individual or organization in service to Lake Champlain International, Inc.;
  • A private sector individual or organization in service to the Lake Champlain Angling Heritage; and
  • A public sector individual or government organization in service to the Lake Champlain Angling Heritage

Nominations in the above categories may be submitted to the Board of Directors.  The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2011.  All nominations are kept confidential.  Awards will be presented at the 30th Annual LCI Father's Day Derby presented by Yamaha Awards Ceremony in 2011 at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center, Burlington, Vermont.
