Lake Champlain International, Inc. invites you to help create a more swimmable, drinkable and fishable Lake Champlain. By becoming a member today, you can make a difference. Your support will allow us to improve the quality of our fisheries, encourage youth and family angling, and raise awareness of the serious issues facing the Lake Champlain watershed and its communities.
What are the benefits?
As a member, you will learn the latest news and issues affecting the heritage, conservation, and fisheries restoration of Lake Champlain. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with LCI through enjoyable fundraising events and Member Appreciation Day. In addition, all members can look forward to receiving their own personalized member certificate, a subscription to the LCI E-Newsletter, recognition in the newsletter or website, a member decal, and an invitation to Member’s Appreciation Day.
Where Does Your Money Go?
Your membership helps to fund a variety of LCI programs such as:
· Fishing for Friends Mentorship Program
· “Bobber Bob” children’s conservation education and outreach program
· Swanton Dam removal education campaign
· The Champlain Fisheries Recovery Initiative
· Lake-wide salmon restoration effort – including the expansion of Sea Lamprey control efforts
· Pollution prevention education
· Habitat restoration education
· Increasing lake access
